New Board of Governors Brings Renewed Commitment to Community

WILDOMAR, CALIF. — With eight new members in place, the 11-member Board of Governors of Southwest Healthcare System held its first meeting this week to begin its drive to continuously improve the quality of care it provides to residents of Southwest Riverside County.

"With the addition of eight new members, the Board of Governors has a diverse range of backgrounds, experiences and points of view," said Ken Rivers, chief executive office of Southwest Healthcare System. "But even though it is a diverse group of people, one thing we all share is a strong commitment to our community."

"We are very pleased that the new members have agreed to serve on the Board of Governors and are excited that Dr. Boggeln will serve as Chairman of the Board," Rivers said. "He is very well respected in the community and among the medical staff. His leadership will be extremely valuable, particularly as we work to create a working environment of openness, responsibility and accountability."
